I am thrilled, no...literally over the moon to announce that I will be playing Joanne in Rent. I have loved this show for over ten years and cannot wait to get started!

Here is her "Character Breakdown":
A high rock belter voice like Aretha Franklin meets Puff Johnson. A politically connected Harvard graduate lesbian with a wry sense of humour and sardonic wit.

The show will rehearse here in Los Angeles and then move up to San Luis Obispo for the performances at the beautiful Spanos Theatre, Performing Arts Center. Here are more details from the website:
